Am I the only one who gets really annoyed with inanimate objects when they don't do what they're supposed to do? I feel like I can't be the only one that gets upset with toasters and Windows computers. When I was younger, I used to get so angry that I would that I would actually hit cupboards or chest of drawers and only hurt myself in the process. I was so certain that they were doing it purposely to annoy me.

I'm the type of person that gets really flustered when I'm running later for something. Which these days happens a lot because I'm also terrible with time management. In the last few minutes before I'm supposed to leave, I get insanely frantic, and every small delay gets blown out of proportion and I take my anger out on the closest person.

That's what happened when I had to leave for the writing workshop on Saturday. I was supposed to get up early but forgot to put an alarm. Then, I got really irritated with my husband for not offering to walk the dogs. Uber refused to show me cabs that were closer, and the elevator took forever to come to my floor. So yeah, I almost kicked the elevator door.

The first session of the Writing Workshop went well. I met some interesting people. There was a reasonable amount of theory, and I actually learned quite a bit about how I can make dialogues in stories better. It was an extremely enjoyable 3 hours.

I have to submit a 1500-word story and another 500-word story as an assignment for this week. So, it's really time to get the creative juices flowing, but I'm unable to get an idea for a story.
The average word count for my stories are about 600 words, so writing a 1500 one will also be challenging. My deadline for the story is Wednesday as well. Wish me luck!
