Old people...

I watched this show on Discovery Travel and Living. It was about the best barbeque joints around the United States. They had stopped in this small town in North Carolina and the narrator said, they've been cooking the meat exactly like their ancestors. So, I thought, ancestors...wow, I didn't know they were so open about the Native American culture. Then, the owner of the joint comes on screen and says, yes, we've been cooking the meat the same way for the last one hundred years.

A hundred years? And, you're calling them ancestors? A hundred years is my grandfather! He was born in 1906.

Please, the United States really needs to get older.
